Internship in Program Countries
With the internship mobility activity that higher education students can carry out in the program countries, it is aimed that the students gain professional experience and gain the necessary skills for transition from education to business life more easily. This activity enables higher education students to do an internship abroad for 2-12 months in an institution / organization / enterprise.
With this activity, it is aimed to develop the competencies of higher education learners and staff and to offer these people professional development opportunities abroad. In this way, to increase the opportunities of studying abroad for those who continue their higher education or new graduates, to gain the skills they need to make the transition from education to business life; higher education personnel, on the other hand, are aimed to gain knowledge of business practice or increase their pedagogical skills. There are two types of mobility under this activity: Student Mobility: Higher education students studying at a higher education institution abroad or doing an internship abroad in a company or any institution / organization Staff Mobility: Academic staff of higher education institutions teaching at a higher education institution abroad or higher education institutions' academic and administrative attend a course / training for their professional development (excluding conferences) or on-the-job training / monitoring of all their staff at an organization abroad
Who is the target audience of the project?
The target audience of this activity is students and staff of higher education institutions. Students and new graduates (only for internship), Academic and Administrative Staff, Professional staff from foreign businesses (only if invited)
The project duration can be 16 or 24 months. Duration of the activity: For students; From 3 months (2 months for internship activity) to 12 months, For staff; It can be from 2 days to 2 months.
Internship in Vocational Education
With the mobility of internships in vocational education, the development of the qualifications of vocational high school students and apprentices is supported. By providing professional development opportunities abroad, it is aimed that these people gain the skills they need to make the transition from education and training to business life. This activity allows vocational high school students and apprentices to do an internship abroad from 2 weeks to 12 months in the form of a job placement directly hosted by an enterprise or a vocational education institution.
It is aimed to improve the competencies of vocational education learners and staff and to offer them professional development opportunities abroad. Thus, people who continue their basic vocational education will gain the skills they need to make the transition from education to business life; On the other hand, vocational education personnel are aimed to acquire and update knowledge of business practice or increase their pedagogical skills.
There are two types of mobility under this activity:
Student Mobility: Vocational high school students and apprentices doing an internship abroad at an enterprise or a vocational school with a work-based training program;
Staff Mobility: Basic activities such as the staff responsible for vocational education working in an enterprise or educational institution, teaching at a project partner institution or seeing the work processes in an education and training institution on site.
The target audience of this activity is the students, apprentices and staff of vocational education institutions and persons working in an organization operating in the field of vocational education and responsible for vocational education. (teachers, trainers, international mobility officers, management and guidance staff)
The duration of the project should be at least 12 months and at most 24 months. Duration of the activity: For learners; From 2 weeks to 12 months For staff; It can be from 2 days to 2 months.
